Steel Window Service, a member of the
Steel Window Association, has been established for over fifty years and is recognised as a leading Company specialising in the supply and fix, servicing, repair and replacement of steel windows in the London and Home Counties area. Experienced in carrying out contracts of all sizes in the commercial and domestic sector, we offer a full advisory and project management service either directly to the public or to local authorities, property management companies, housing associations, architects and main contractor builders. With a Quality Assurance system in place the Directors have addressed Health and Safety issues; their teams of fixers are all experienced skilled workers who have been with the Company for many years.

The modern steel window is galvanised for positive rust-proofing, and with a durable and attractive polyester powder coating, provides a long lasting and durable product with low cost maintenance. Standard and purpose made SMW,  EB14 and EB24 range windows and the purpose made W20 and W40 sections offer a versatile product which can reproduce an exact match of existing windows in historic and listed buildings. The W40 and EB24 profiles can be glazed with double glazing insulating glass units up to an overall thickness of 26mm / 24mm respectively. Slender elegant sightlines are combined with inherent strength and fire resistance for maximum security and resistance to vandalism.  The C55 range of cold rolled box-section steel door screens offer superior strength over our mild steel doors for use in high traffic situations and can be glazed with insulating 28mm units.

As an alternative to costly replacement, Steel Window Service offers a complete overhaul and repair service. Steel windows and doors can be made entirely operable and draught free by servicing - a process of oiling, easing and adjusting the opening frames, chipping away any excess paint and straightening if necessary to ensure correct contact on closure. Security locks and trickle ventilators can be supplied and fixed.  Full draughtproofing services are offered. Fittings can be either tightened and re-fixed or replaced to match where necessary and any broken or cracked panes re-glazed.
